the deep pocket thread,.....

Re:

I think it’s beautiful. The seller has done a fantastic job. I prefer to build rather than buy, so I am out.. but if ever there was a concept of an “investment” bike, this would be pretty close.

Re:

It would take a brave man to list them as a proper auction (i.e. low starting price but with a reserve), so listing them at a price you'd like to get and are prepared to wait for...yeah, why not. There are plenty of rubbish bikes listed with unrealistic asking prices, and none of these fall into that category. GLWS!

Salsa is a masterpiece, to be fair.

Sometimes the rasta Paul stuff can feel a bit... much?

But this is the perfect bike for it.

And everything looks absolutely pristine.

Dream whip territory.

This reminded me of a bike I saw parked up in Singapore a few years ago. I sometimes saw older bikes put to practical use by domestic workers, office messengers and the like, including an Allsop Beam MTB and this.

Re:

Nice.. is that a Team Titanium FRS?

I would be very tempted to leave a note attached to that bike one day - see if you can convince the owner to part with it.
