EDIT: It was pointed out to me that forks do not look straight, so I inspected them and it could be true. I carefully checked the frame and could not see any paint bunching or similar to suggest it has suffered any damage at all. See added close up pictures of the frame and forks to the album (link below) for your reference.

Needless to say, as I would prefer bike not to be split in pieces I am dropping the price by half, so looking for £145, which I think is a fair price considering the excellent parts, new tyres, period bottle cage etc. and with this drop new (chrome perhaps) forks and headset can be found.

Lovely condition 25 1/2” bike looking for a tall vintage bike lover.

All original bar new chain, inner cables (outers have fab patina, they were cleaned and lubricated) and tan walled tyres. Frame in really good condition with small paint chips here and there and other signs of use for 40y old bike; stripped, cleaned, greased and waxed.

SunTour Cyclone front and rear mechs and DT shifters in VGC.
Drillium Raleigh chainset.
Weinmann 605 brakes and drilled brake levers with original Weinmann hoods.
Normandy Competition hubs, which are really really smooth, same goes for the BB.
AL-150 pedals.
Vintage water bottle cage added.
No bar tape - cotton for purists perhaps, so left the choice of the new owner.
