Hi, could I take the long seat post and the lx shifters, if they are 9 speed (can't remember if that model is 8 or 9).

Might as well go for the rear mech that's left too.

Yes you can, the long seat post is 400mm long 27mm dia. The LX Shifters are 3 x 8 speed. The rear derailleur is a Ultegra 6700 9 speed.

Cool, I'll just take the post and ultegra mech then as not got anything 8sp planned and I'm sure they'd be better off in someone else's hands.
