Tag Heuer Series 1500 Two-Tone Diver (full size model) for sale. Bought new in 1999 from reputable Jewellers Leslie Davies in Milton Keynes
Recently known as the “Obama watch” in watch geek circles as it is the same watch the US President wears (I don’t know if this raises the profile or future worth of this watch just stating facts!) I found this out merely by chance when doing a bit of research for the sale.
Bezel & Strap mainly silver with gold. The bezel has raised triangles at 00-10-20-30-40-50, with numerals at 5-15-25-35-45-55.These raised triangles are gold-tone, as is the crown.
The dials on the Series 1500 Two-Tone Divers are a distinctive "granite" colour. This watch was produced with a white dial only in the final period of production (1999).
Immaculate condition, crystal has no marks whatsoever (Watch has been barely worn due to wkend watch for a few years)
It has received a full service by a registered Horologist including new (good quality) battery last month in preparation for sale. This also included a quick buff on the clasp to remove any faint swirls.
Box, guarantee and relevant papers all included in immaculate condition
