Yep! Two runs then a big hammer and an old screwdriver to remove a whole section – the thing just fell out after that – maybe a new technique?
Didn't work the first time though as shown on the side facing...

But damn I'm pleased!!!!

I had the same problem with my RL and an easton EA 70 . A week later and a lot of swearing , two tins of plus gas , and finally out it fell !

All my own fault though , i used to take it out every month without fail and grease it up ! Just got out of the habbit of doing it and paid the price too .

The frame's ok....for now at least...
Now it's time for the f-ing bottom bracket which is also seized!! (the right-hand crank was a complete nightmare too!)

Must stop buying 'bargains' :roll:
