I'm new to this forum but have already found a ton of great info - big thanks for that!
I grew up in the glorious 80s and 90s, raced CC for Specialized, and now, thanks to my own kids, the bike fever has hit me again. My latest obsession? Building up a 1999 Rocky Mountain Element Ltd. For me, Rocky Mountain has always been the ultimate, most legendary full-suspension bike out there. But what I didn't realize is that the 26.8mm seat post is about as common as a unicorn - especially if you're after period-correct parts.
So, long story short: I'm on a desperate hunt for a Syncros seat post in 26.8mm. Anyone here got one lying around? As a trade deal, I’ve got a Syncros seat post in 27.2mm up for grabs if someone’s in need.
