The bar is uncut and about 540 from memory

Ah, shame. If it was 580mm then I'd have had your arm off. Trying to find a decent quality, period 580mm flat bar in silver is like looking for hen's teeth!

Apparantly the Easton bars of this period are all 580
If thet is wide enough I will check and confirm
