I have a set of Suntour Command Shifters - I think the original version. I ran them for a while on my Ritchey Ultra with dirt drops and a shimano rear cluster. I didn't appreciate that Suntour and Shimano used slightly different spacings/pull ratios when they were in the indexing war and they never really worked perfectly so I ran them friction most of the time which was just ok. I have read that you can swap the index plates with microshift ones to get the shimano pull ratio and increase the number of speeds.
Anyone done this? If so where did you source your plates and do you have any advice / warnings on process?
