It's not really an MTB, but it's certainly retro. A search shows that a few have been owned by forum members over the years. Does anyone still have one that could measure the seatpost size for me?

It's much bigger than 25.4, but a 27.2 doesn't want to fit. I'm just not sure if this is becuase I have been running a 25.4 with incorrect sized shims and have crushed the top of the seattube a little.

Any help much appreciated. Cheers. :D

Just get a shim for the frame, yes they are generally for 25mm posts but you basically need to shim it from 25.4 to 26.4, which is 1mm difference. Just get a 25.0 to 26.0 shim and it should be fine.
