STX chainring /cassette/chain

Hi,

I broke my chain, and damaged the chainring yesterday. I can probably fix the chainring (smallest one, 2/3 teeth bent out of shape) but wouldn't like to re-use the chain. The bike is a Marin Nail Trail, all original, so the drive components are very worn. Hence I think that if I change the chain, I will need a new chainring set, and new cassette also.

Any component or info welcome, I have had a look around on the forum, but realise that I am out of my depth.

Youpi , i've got some nice stx cranckset for sell , one in very nice condition in 170 or 175 mm .
