Hi there Retro people...

Ive been meaning to join up with a retro bike forum since the Klein Owners Club split! Unfortunately ( shame due to the wrong reasons! ) I have been pushed to join a little quicker than expected!

The Moonrise Attitude which is in the forum Was once mine! Now some Ba**ard has stolen it and probably dont even know what it is! Just likes the pretty colours!!

Please please please please get in touch with me should you have ANY info on its whereabots as this bike has serious sentimental value! Not to mention how hard they are to come across nowadays!! This was once my race bike for comps!!! She belongs with me . . . .

Thanks all you guys and gals out there who have already been a great help and providing some useful tips! All you international peeps too...

Del, I can empathise with you mate, years ago when I was into good bikes but without the foresight to see how easy theft can be, I had stolen a Fat Chance Monster from my garden shed. Did get insurance payment, but really tresured that bike. I use the same method to hang my bikes from a main joist in the garage, and then use chains to tether them to the joist through the frames. Thanks Alan.... It so nice to have people understand and back me up !! I Will get it back ! Just a matter of time and resources! Im not one myself but am fairly fortunate to know a few of the local unsavoury's which are likely to either hear about or get offered the bike !!

Friend had a bike nicked last weekend, muppets who robbed it had it on ebay this week. Got it back already.

Will put a permenant 'robbed bikes' thread somewhere at some point.

Had my manitou hardtail stolen in essex,thought I would mention it on here just in case somone gets offered it. ,Sentimental reasons mainly ,I bought the frame new in93, the day/month /year of manufacture is stamped on underside of bottom bracket. the spec
15 inch polished frame,manitou answer decals ,1 1/4 dia comp headset
judy sl,
royce titanium bottom bracket
flite slr saddle
x lite riser bars
xtr m900 front and rear mech
modern xtr v brakes
8spd xt shifters
mavic hubs with lemon/yellow 517 rims
modern deore hollow tec cranks

Cant be many of these frames about, it cost a fortune back then,you never Know someone might see it, just left with my P7 now.
