Stiff M950 brake levers - lubrication?

My grey M950 levers are a bit stiff. It's not coming from the cables but was the body and lever interface once blade pulled. I've used WD40 (Specialist) rust release - penetrant Spray which is basically WD40 with some long lasting lubrication added. Not sure if this is ideal but it has improved the levers a lot!

So my main question is after using the WD40 penetrant spray what next? I'm thinking some wax based lube like White Lightening Epic which I have and then a heavier grease on the joining bolt/cam plus the small spring underneath?

I imagine using any thin spray like I've done although a good quick fix in the sort term have I done any harm?
E.g washing out the "good stuff" grease the manufacturer added that I am unaware of or is the M950 brake lever fairly okay to leave alone without specific target areas that need a special thick grease?
Any help and advise much appreciated, I looked online but all this old info is no longer easily searchable on google :(

Cheers,
Mezz

Re:

You can strip these levers completely, clean, lube and rebuild. The culprit is likely to be the lever pivot. Held inby a grub screw, you can pop it out, clean and put back. That should help.
