I have a Stan Butler Special possibly 1970 vintage. As you can see the previous owner started to sand the paint off. Luckily he left enough to identify the frame details. Going to rebuild for the Eroica 2026 in Italy. I am going period Campagnolo Nouovo Record. Any suggestions on paintwork?

reportedly serials begin with 500 in 1948 and go to 2405 in 1980
they are typically marked on outer face of left dropout and on steerer
