I think this is the last piece of the puzzle. Shifters are SRAM rival 10x2, rear mech is an 11sp rival which should work. Front mech I'm after is ideally SRAM rival 2x to match. Can be other SRAM I guess.

Looking for something to work with 50t x 36t rings. Frame does not have a mount so one with a clamp would be ideal, though can use an adapter on the frame too. Frame is alloy and I think would be looking for a 31.8. I have callipers on order as mine broke so can't measure until they arrive.

I have a nearly new SRAM rival front mech for compact chain sets. It is for a braze on. £15 posted? Can take a pic in the morning.

It might work, though haven't got a braze on mount but probably have an adapter, but it might be for direct mount MTB mechs. If you could post a pic it would be helpful. Thsnks

I have a 34.9 clamp top-pull 2x10 high clamp X9 front mech. Not e-mount or direct just old fashioned band around the seat tube. I had this working tickety boo with 50/36 and Rival levers. It is in very good condition.

For the rear mech to work with the 10 speed levers it has to be an Exact Actuation version. That will be written on the cage.

The X9 front was available with two different cages. Mine is the 'big ring' version and stamped with 48t, on the back of the cage. It easily handled up to 53t, though :)
I even paired a 53 to a 33 inner without shifting probs but there was a little chain rub on the bridge between the bottom ends of the plates, if you went small-small, with this combo of rings. It was pushing it a bit too far, had to be set absolutely perfectly, and 13t was the minimum!

That is interesting as I have a few X0 front mechs and possibly an x9 as well, definitely an xx. I hadn't thought about the MTB mech being compatible, might have to check if any of mine will take a 50t ring.

Compatability regarding throw doesn't seem to be a problem. The only problem i can see is that the other mechs you have might have the cages for smaller rings. I dont think the X0 had a big ring version and i am even surer that the XX didn't . I dont think the latter went above 40. The X9 had two versions, possibly 3. I would definitely look at the back of the inner plates for the tooth number and even if it is lower, say 42t, i would still give it a go .
I assume the difference is in the arc of the plates , or how far the plates go around the ring. Maybe both?. Seattube angle might affect things, too.
