Assistance is required to build awareness and possibly donations to the Air Ambulance Service.
Here in Blairgowrie in Scotland our local Councillor Bob Ellis is riding from Lands End to John O' Groats commencing 9th May,

What is unusual?
Bob is 65, he is aiming for 6.5 days and raise £6.5k.

Even more unusual is the bike he is riding, it is the rarest of the rare,
'The Bontrager Experimental' Keith's own bike for 16 years and often discussed on this forum.
The expression "there is life in the old dog" is certainly apt in this case.
Please assist with Facebook, Twitter and forum activity to generate interest. Bob is not up to speed with social media or computers at all and is lagging behind with publicity.

If you can help it would be magnificent.
Keith's own bike really is the ultimate ATB.

The two riders are Bob Ellis and his son Arran, money raisedi will be match funded by the company Arran works for, so any donations will be doubled plus gift aid as well.

I've sent a link to the news team at Road CC, they usually cover events like this.

Re:Bob & Arran #LEJOG (6 1/2 days)

Posted a few tweets about this , search for @mikespillagain or under #LEJOG & #AirAmbulance.
Have included pictures on here.
Was very impressed with the bike when I (briefly) rode it. Very stiff but smooth at the same time and VERY FAST !
KB knows how to build a bike !
Follow Bob and Arran on the hashtags on twitter and donate if you can.
