Re: spot

interested in this pending 2 things. Im 5ft 11 and think it may be a little big. Also do Spot sell geared hangers for these as id want to run it geared. I had a Spot Longboard and it was great but tyre clearance was an issue. Great handlin frame though. Whats your thoughts on sizing?

Re: spot

Thank you for your interest and questions.

About dropouts. Frame is gears ready, but curentlly has ss dropouts to make it look clean. You can easily change drive side dropout and put gears on the bike. Guys at spot are super friendly and responsive, it will be easy to get a dropout...

I also have an old Spot (great frame, btw) and I know what you mean with tyre clearance. Honebadger has noticeable better clearance, but since I didn't build it up I can't really tell you what is max tyre it would accept.

About sizing. This is really a question which is hard to answer. My personal thoughts: I am 6ft and I felt my old Spot (large) was just right for me (with 90mm stem). Then I went for another custom build, talked a lot with my builder, and ended up with frame with ETT = 24,75" and shorter stem (60mm). And it feels great! Spot is ETT = 24,1". It's geometry is also modern which works better with shorter stems. According to this I would say this is a perfect sized frame for you, but you will probably want to use 50-60mm stem...

Re: spot

Hi

Thanks for the information. Very very interested! Please let me do some chasing for the geared hanger and I'll be in touch.

Re:

Very nice frame.

I've been asked a few times "Are you a boob, bum or legs man"
Well actually I'm a 'Seatstay' kinda guy. Not in a Pervy way, you understand, it's not a fetish, but seatstays say a lot about a chap.

Take a bump!

Re:

Hey sorry man!! I forgot about this. Works been eating up my time.

I'd love this frame but feel that it maybe on the big side for me : (

I did speak to Tim about the dropouts though and they are available.

Good luck with this sale, just wish it was a bit smaller
