spinergy rev x question ???

Hi

QUICK QUESTION :

Did Spinergy make spinergy rev x road and spinergy rev x mbt wheels ?
or are the rev x used for both mbt and road ?

Been searching the Internet and the forum but can not find out if Synergy built specific MTB REV X wheels or not ?
I just got a set of Synergy Rev X wheels which ar 26" which I believe were used on a road bike
Any help would be appriciated

Yes, they did.... if those are 26" they are probably the mtb version.

I have a pair. They are branded REV X ROX . They were given to me by Spinergy and are deffo MTB 26"

There are small stickers on the wheels that say REV X ROX

The Spinergy Rev X series came in the following variants:

26" (MTB)
650C (Triathlon)
700C (Road)

Indeed axle widh differs but also note that rim diameter is not the same for either variant. MTB tires do not fit on the 650C rims.

It is possible to fit 650C rims on a MTB. Only the brakes to have to bre adjusted slightly higher on the cantilevers/brake bosses. I use the 650C variant on my bike for road trips.

Thanks for all the Info...
The 2 bikes above look sweet with the Synergy wheels.
Wheels should be arriving this week so will let you know excatly what I bought when they arrive... Just hope they will fit ....
(Should never buy on ebay after the pub :? )
