Been lurking on classifieds for a while, but this is my first time making a topic. I'm looking to sell this specialized stump jumper, 4130 cromoly double butted frame and fork, it comes with a dia comp original headset (small crack in the case, but fully functional) and the shimano deore LX groupset. Also looking to sell the wheelset, sontour XC pro WTB greaseguard and specialized heat treated XL21 26 rims. Planning on selling hubs and rims seperately as they're very out of true.
I sort of 'inherited' this, and it was in this condition when I got it. Previous owner got a few paint spills on it, as shown in the photos. The original paint is in somewhat rough condition, there are some pretty bad marks from the chain on the seat stay. The original decals are in poor condition as shown.
It also comes with an unnamed seatpost, and a 1" specialized aluminium stem and aluminium bars.
The groupset could do with some TLC, one of the shifters needs a bit of attention but worked for me, albeit not to the best degree. It's quite scratched up but functional, the jockey wheels could do with replacing. All in all, as previously mentioned, the groupset needs a going over, but would be brilliant when dealt with.
Wheel wise, the hubset is absolutely perfectly functional, could do with a regrease and a clean, but other than that fine. Wheels are specialized XL21 Japan heat treated, as i said, they will be sold separately, not as a complete wheelset.
Also, if anyone could tell me the year of the frame that'd also be much appreciated.
Planning on selling these and hopefully building up a 'proper' retro MTB for commuting and maybe a little bit f shredding on the weekend.
I'm aware that this probably won't be worth much, but any indication as to what i can expect from it would be greatly appreciated, as I am completely at a loss. Please be brutally honest if necessary.
