SOLD - Orange Sub3 Frame and RP23 ProPedal shock - £150

Re:

I don't think people realise how good these bikes are. I never thought I'd ever want a full suss XC bike until I tried a Sub3, now it's the bike I ride the most. I doubt there is anything for sale on here at the moment which is as good an all-rounder as a Sub3, for that money. And it's hand-made in Britain, what more could you want? :D

Rant over.

Re:

Why thank you :)
I used to do the Isle of Man End2End race on it - the South Downs Way - the Ridgeway.
But I've also done Brechfa on it a few times.

Didn't need loads of travel - but it dealt with it all.
And at under 23lbs - it was pretty darn good uphill too :)

Can you tell me please what it weighs? And the length of the top tube, c-c along the tube?
Many thanks

Hi Anthony,
Weight of frame, shock and Hope Headset - is 2868g
Actual top tube length - not virtual to a seatpost - is 22" or 56cm

I had this running under 23lb fully race built.

Oh ok, that's quite big for a size 16. I can see now how it was such a good fit for you.
I should say this isn't for me, but a friend has just broken his Rocky Mountain, so I said I'd keep an eye out for a decent replacement. He is about your height, but I think his RM may be a fraction bigger, but I'll point this out to him anyway.
Thanks for getting the details.
