NB: SOLD for £35

Right, next up on my list of Oakleys to clear out is a very nice, though non-retro, pair of Teaspoon wires with the rare Black Persimmon iridium lens and a light bronze frame (model 05-781).

The Teaspoon wire is intended as a woman's style I think, but on men it gives a particularly sophisticated kind of look, especially as the eyes are visible through the lenses - the iridium coating on the persimmon lens gives them a reflective sheen rather than a mirror effect. I would say perfectly suitable for men with small or medium faces. The nosepieces are set quite narrow, which was fine for me but might need adjusting depending on the size of yours. Nice gold O icon logos on the temples too, which you can't see in the pictures.

I love the persimmon lens - brilliant in overcast/cloudy conditions and rain. Good for everything except bright days - they really brighten things up and increase contrast, but even in a bit of sun the iridium coating provides protection. Perfect for the autumn and winter. These glasses have hardly had any use, since I prefer my persimmon Fives for these conditions. Apparently the iridium persimmon lens was only ever put on 4 models. Some lens reviews are here: http://www.o-review.com/lensdetail.asp?ID=1083

This pair is in nigh on immaculate condition - no marks that I can see to the lenses, even under close examination in bright light. The same with the frames. The earsocks have expanded a little but are still perfectly fine (and Oakley will always send a new pair free if you ask, anyway). I can try and post some better photos if required - these didn't come out great under the artificial light and flash. The stock picture is included for this reason.

I'd like £35 for these, please (Paypal gift) and I'll send them 2nd class recorded.

Please note that I'm pretty new to this forum but am a very genuine and honest seller. Only one sale so far to John, but he was very happy with his Frogskins, I understand :) He started a feedback thread for me here: http://www.retrobike.co.uk/forum/viewtopic.php?t=117404
