Now included for the same price a set of repro decals from Gil. The colours are correct but unlike the original, these don't glow in the dark.
Having only recently acquired this I have managed to find one of my grail frames from the early 90's. I'd love to have both but I have to draw the line somewhere so am considering selling this 15" Kona Score frame to fund the new purchase.
It is structurally perfect with no dents or cracks. There are minor scratches here and there but nothing that can't be sorted with some Scotchbrite or similar. It came to me with non original decals which I have removed leaving only the original Kona Ti decal on the seat tube. It has disc or V brake mounts, takes a 30.0 seatpost and 1 1/8" headset and is designed for a 100mm fork. Seat tube measures 12" centre-centre and 15" centre-top. The top tube is 21.25" centre-centre.
This was Kona's top of the range out of bounds hard tail and was only made in 2000 and was then dropped due to the cost of manufacture. Depending on what you read, there were either 100 of each of the three sizes or 100 total made so whichever way you look at it this is a very rare frame indeed. Designed to be ridden smaller than a regular bike (hence only 15", 17" and 17" long).
I'm happy to consider swaps or px's. I'm mostly interested in old steel but am always on the lookout for something more modern, small and steel to replace my Dekerf Implant
