Hi guys,
I have a pair of Mavic 430 SSC levers in not-great condition as can be seen below. The hoods are junk and the blades are scuffed, but could be touched up.
The biggest problem is that one of the lever bodies is quite badly cracked and should be replaced. Does anyone know if I could swap the blade into the lever body of another Mavic or Modolo brake lever? I don't know if the pivoting pin could be safely pressed out and then back in again.
Does anyone have ideally a single Mavic brake lever? Otherwise a single Modolo lever that I can try to just use the body of after rescuing the blade. The 430 SSC is the same as the Modolo Professional and maybe the Master Pro - but the lever body also looks a lot like some of the other model lever bodies, like as Flash and Speedy.
