I bought this frame ages ago as an unknown frame and tried to build it up and got an Italian bottom bracket bound up not tight but stuck, so chucked it in the back of the shed and kept scowling at it from time to time. I had built up another fillet brazed frame which I soon came to the conclusion was too big for me, so I sold that and had all the parts hanging around. So about 2 months ago I dug this frame out and with some very ungentle persuassion I wrestled the bottom bracket out. I mostly built it up then started to build road bikes so this got put on the back burner. So Saturday I decided to roll up my sleeves and get it finished........... So as I said at the start I bought this as an unknown frame and I wanted to give it an identity, so like Baldrick I came up with a cunning plan find a list of Italian manufactuers and enter their name into Google followed by the words 'Mountain bike' after ruling out many, I typed in Simoncini Mountain bike and this popped up https://www.google.com/url?client=inter ... YMy2qBkSOg . I noticed a lot of similarities so decided this looks good enough, so a Simoncini it is.
