Show us your old CHEAP stuff!

All the kids had those black and white 15-speed mustangs in my day, but I haven't seen one for years. Would love to see a photo if anyone's got one.

One mate had a Raleigh Maverick, 5-speed, and he'd managed to convince all us 11-year-olds that it was the racier version of the Mustang - "stripped for speed". Must have weighed as much as a car despite fewer chainrings...

I don't want to use the word cheap as my first bike was a gift from my mum when she decided to return to work (after I was old enough to walk to school on my own :D )

It was a Falcon Sherpa with 15 of the finest shimano friction gears and a bottom bracket that wore so badly it actually seized when I was out riding one day.

That bike and I went all over dartmoor together when I was young I have some fantastic memories of that old girl.

Was given a Mustang in black and white from my neighbour! Its huge (>22" IIRC) if anybody wants it.
