Dan made new legs with slightly thicker walled alloy, and welding the top mounts and dropouts from the original legs.
Keep looking out for the Forks. I didn't pay much for mine as they were very rough which suited my purpouse
even better, I like that solution, the hardest part of the fork is the linkage, so why not make new legs. set for a good few years riding now.

still check ebay regularly for a set and will continue till I find something else daft to do.

And the old Nishiki I bought and used in Japan. It was too small and all 4 bottle cage screws were broken, but I rode it every single day for few months and loved it
