This was my first time to Norway in the winter, it's amazing how different the landscape is to Summer

I stayed two times in Sweden during winter a couple of years ago and it is indeed amazing. One time my then girlfriend was scared to step onto the ice on a frozen lake and told me not to try it. She was standing with her back towards the lake and in the distance I could see some swedes drifting onto the ice in their old Volvo just as she was telling me all her worries... I will never forget the look in her eyes as I told her to turn around.

that confused the crap out of me for about 2 weeks when I was working on Cologne. In the end I had to ask why everybody kept shouting at Gayle and who the hell was she.

29+ Wheels arrived yesterday, thanks Slam69 for the great service. Built up last night so I could have a little ride this morning whilst on Dad Taxi duty. Much faster rolling and will be great for UK Spring/Summer trips....And no more accusations of the Zombie Apocalypse

How many people are confused by your fork?

Any chance of some shots of the brake mount as its rare to see one welded and even rarer to see one on the right side (not to mention widened).

I asked Dan Chambers to build them for me as wanted suspension forks with fork cage mounts and I thought Girvins would suit Fat Biking/ Bikepacking really well . I love the simplicity of the shock and they work really well

And the thing is...it's not for show..it really does work how I wanted it to. The NR1 shock needed a complete overhaul but that has made a real difference to how it works. It's really easy to adjust preload depending how loaded up the front end is and I had at almost fully locked out in Norway when riding on collapsing crust. Dan really did an amazing job and his attention to detail and loading mean I feel confident using it in any situation

Dan made new legs with slightly thicker walled alloy, and welding the top mounts and dropouts from the original legs.
Keep looking out for the Forks. I didn't pay much for mine as they were very rough which suited my purpouse
