Shockster bolt on rear suspension

Re:

It was a fascinating if somewhat doomed from the start idea, looks to be pretty well made and I am sure no worse than the Manitou and Marin FRS, but I certainly wouldn't pay that sort of money to find out

Oh Jesus.
A guy who used to ride with our club at uni had one of these. After he'd given up on his alsop soft ride/girvin flex stem combo.

Not the sharpest bloke around. With the money he spent trying to turn his pig iron hard tail into an FS and then the money he spent trying to fix it (either the soft ride or thus was all imperial hardware, which was non-standard and a bugger to get hold of) he could have bought an actual FS frame and probably a fork.

Think the high point was the one ride he turned up to with both fitted.

Someone wrote a price on the box with a sharpie. It's hard to tell, but I think it's a two digit number...

Re:

Looks like 3 digits?

$9.99?

Think these retailed at $299 originally, they dropped the price later, guess they didn't sell all that well

Looking around they seem a fairly popular mod for recumbents of old...
