Shimano xtr m985 (race type)

Hi,

Folks recently purchased the above will this fit my ibis mojo as heard due to the Q factor these don't fit all frames..

Any advice as on the advert it was m980 but just found out the item I'm getting is the race variant m985.

Chainset right? I have m970 on same frame (sl) with no issues, if that helps.... which it probably does not

Alright bud yeah the crankset. Was after the m970 however couldn't find a mint one. So went for the double m980 however I've received a email stating the order I bought was the m985 double (not my mistake )

Been told this is the lighter version but due to narrow it doesn't fit all frames. :?

depends on how much you wanna pay. ebay, mint will go for around £ 150. They can be gotten in good condition with logo intact for around £ 100 - I got one not so long ago forr around that much - had the clear protectors on so logos are fine.

Update my cranks arrive after a week waiting and do they fit NOPE !
Due to the Q factor couldn't get the chain on no clearance on the rear stays.

To that end went down the lbs and purchased a new m980 should arrive mon
