Shimano Rear Mech date code - where?

I have an ultegra rear mech, but cannot find the date code anywhere on it, am i missing something?

It's normally on the cage somewhere. I've got a 6401 rear mech on my desk just now - the date code (RJ) is stamped inside the outer cage plate, just above the pivot.

Brilliant! I found it. I was looking all over the main body.
