So I still use the same pair of spd shoes, mo55...

Are the cleats the same these days if I changed?

Great shoes and lasted 20years without smelling!

The cleats will be the same. Shimano got it right the first time around.

Go for the black SM51 cleats if you like the 'original' single release (heel twist) versions, or the gold SM55 if you want the multi-release (oops I accidentally popped out) type.

You can probably tell which ones I prefer from that...
