Anyone have a mid-1980’s-ish 5/6-speed Shimano M700 Deerhead rear derailleur they don’t mind parting with?

Yes that's the Deore one I was thinking of.
an M700 Deerhead would be preferable if there are any around at realistic prices.

The "updated" 2nd version would be preferable, but either would be acceptable.

I’ve got a deerhead rear mech that I’ll part with. Also have a front if you need one?

It’s just the rear mech I need, already have the front mech.

No worries. I think I also have the cranks somewhere too.
I’ve found the mech and given it a clean. It’s in nice condition except it’s missing the stop on the derailleur body to stop the cage rotating all the way round. As long as you’re careful when fitting the chain, in operation it has no impact. Date code is IB which I believe means 02/84. How does £45 posted sound?
