Sorted Shimano m563 LH shifter

Only the left hand shifter required to complete my set of refurbished LX brifters…..Or can someone explain how to refit the spring that triggers the cam ratchet….im buggered if I can sort it.

I can't help with the spring, although I know that there are some good complete strip-down/rebuild guides on Youtube for much of the popular vintage kit where nothing's actually damaged. But as for a replacement, I have a damaged set where the l/h brifter is still ok, so (if Youtube can't help) can dig it out- just let me know.

I’ve checked and yea, there seem to be some good guides…..that’s my next plan!

Good stuff, just be prepared to keep on rewinding the vid while you try to copy the guys actions which he seems to do so effortlessly
