Shimano FC-M569 Bottom Bracket Length?

I bought this 1997 Saracen Kili-Team from the car boot sale last week.

Poor thing has has a hard life.

I've stripped it down and it needs a few new parts.

The chainset is a Deore LX FC-M569.

The fitted BB was a UN-72 108mm, which seems a bit too short for a triple.

Seeing as the chainset was pretty worn I suspect that the BB-UN72 is a replacement.

Anybody know what the correct spindle length is for the M569?

I can't help but had the same frame. Bought off eBay and on arrival found the previous owner had fitted too short a BB and the chain ring had torn through the chain stay. Not sure how this wasn't noticed before the damage was done.

113mm or 117mm are more typical lengths for standard cranks. BBS tend to be specific to cranks, try Sheldon browns BB reference as it's got a lot of helpful information.

107mm tended to be for m900 cranks, I'm sure others too, but not sure LX.
