Hello bud, Deore DX was only made up until 1992/3 so you won't find a DX rapid fire+ with a V brake lever, do you have a picture of the part you're trying to match?
Think you may have got it a bit mixed up bud, they're for cantilever brakes, as you have that set is it literally the shifter pod you need as one isn't working properly?

hmm strange, they look nothing like the ones i have, or the ones in the pic, yet they are DX, does it have the half shift to move the mech slightly by shifting up slightly between full shifts? if it does il take them, these look like they are thumb/thumb rather than thumb up, finger down. Thanks
The reason they are different is that yours are DX M-075 rapidfire plus shifters with the thumb and finger shifting paddles. These were available in 1993 only, as DX was dropped by Shimano in 1994.
The ones that Coomber is offering are the slightly earlier DX M-071 rapidfire shifters, which were available in 1991 and 1992. They and have both shifter paddles operated by the thumb.
This push-push design was largely regarded as badly flawed due to the high likelihood of hitting the wrong button. Hence the arrival of rapidfire plus with it's push-pull shifting in 1992 on XT and in 1993 on DX, LX and most of the other groupsets lower down the range.
Oh and pretty much every brake lever up until 1996 was designed for cantilever brakes.
