Seatpost Size On A Sunn Vertik?

My wifes bike (an old 97/98 at a guess) Sunn Vertik needs a new post. The old one doesn't have any marking to say what size it is and it was being run with a shim anyway. Anyone any ideas? I know its smaller than a 27.2mm...

Not got a pic but I believe they did different models of the Vertik and I suspect the one I have is towards bottom of the range. Fuju tubing etc and the same bubble graphics a yours john. I think 26.8mm might be right...

Can anyone confirm?

take it to a bikeshop and they should be able to tell with one of thos bar thingys they ram down the tube....
