Screwdrivers?

As many bolts and screws on bikes are made of soft alloy, I'm looking to buy a decent set of screwdrivers that will make the job of removing screws easy and not damage anything (or at least stand a better chance).

I've looked at various bike and non bike brands and online reviews aren't helpful so hoping some real life retro biker insight can help me buy some.

It’s more to do with right profile for right screw. I have a few and find that a reputable make such as Stanley is adequate as long as you have a good range of sizes.

Re:

I tend to use my retired work screwdrivers, Wera, CK, Magnusson, but I also have a couple of B&Q drivers I've had for years that I often use for bike stuff, you don't need insulated drivers for bike work.
A few different sizes of each type helps.
Use the best fitting one for the job.
Don't force the screw, a lot of bike screws seem to be made of cheese and/or are rusted in place, it's easy to chew them up.

Re:

I'm familiar with how to choose and use a screwdriver, just after some recommendations on some quality ones. Various online reviews for some mention poor quality, brittle ends. Want to avoid them, but for every bad review there are more good ones for the same product.

Will look at wera tools.

Re:

Some bicycle fasteners are JIS, rather than Philips of Posidrive; Vessel Megadora: https://amazon.co.uk/s?k=vessel+screwdr ... b_ss_i_1_6 - The Megadora +1x75 (JIS) +1 is ideal for Shimano deraileur limit screws and the little centre adjustment screws on V-brakes.

I haven't got any of their screwdrivers, but I have been impressed with the Wera stuff I do have.

Like others have said, the fit is more important, especially for the smaller softer heads on bikes.

I have expensive, cheap, coated, precision etc the only quality i go by is correct fit, regardless.

I have a couple of Facom screwdrivers my dad gave me ages ago, they are tough as old boots, also I have a couple of their 1/4 drive mini ratchets and they are indespensible to me now.
