Team, what size seat post do it need for a 1996/7 Saracen Rufftrax? I think it's 26.4 but I'm not too certain.

I've got a Saracen Backtrax and one of those unpainted Saracen frames from ebay that are both from roughly the same period or a tad earlier. They both take a 26.4 seatpost if IIRC.

Yes it will most likely be a 26.4mm post (all four of my TuffTrax, my Sahara and my Eiger frames do. So does my 98 HardTrax)

Although curiously all the bikes from the 1993 range are listed taking 26.2mm posts.
