Doesn’t get out very often as I live on top of a 20% hill and it’s only got a 42-18 as smalllest gear! Took it on the flat today though as it’s got some new tubs on. What a ride!!!!! From 1977…..

Yes, bought from a bike shop in Monza in the late 90s…they had it hanging in the window. They bought all the ex team bikes every year and sold them on, they kept this one as it was unused. Decals were shot due to dust but Gus Salmon in the states made them. These exact decals were only on the 77 bikes….

Only thing I’ve done was cleaned it, new gum hoods and bar tape and had the decals redone. It had clement criterium setas on it as well but they thad long since expired.

I’ve had it many years…it’s got a few rare parts on it. I’ve never seen another first generation super record alloy headset either, same shape top nut as Nuovo record steel except in alloy. Long reach first gen super record levers are also pretty rare.

Looks fast standing still! I'm not usually that bothered about anything pre-1980 as I tend to find they look a bit too clunky and old for my liking, but that's bloody lovely
