I bought this nice frame a few years ago from a fellow member here (rafbike) and always loved a ride on it - allthough its a tad too big for me. So now I finally found a nice surrogate in form of a 91 Merlin Titanium, the TiLite can go. Obviously with a grim in the belly ;)

Its a 91 KHS TiLite (same welding plant as the Litespeed frames) with a 44cm seattube (center bb > center tt) or 51cm center bb > top seattube and 58cm toptube length

1-⅛" headtube with 120mm lenght

68mm BSA bb-case

27.2mm seattube and 31.8mm front derallieur ID

rear hub wide 135mm

weight 1515gram inc Ti-brakebolts

The frame has no dents or scratches and nothings bent, all threads are sound. The only downpoint is more as an optical one - it had a repair at the driveside chainstay, a small crack was professionally welded and showed no negative progress over the last 5 years. I am no lightweight rider, so I dont expect that there will something happen. With a mounted crankset the repair-spot isnt visible, so I forgot about it ;) - its priced fair in case of the repair

price 250£ + postage from germany - SOLD

Re:

That's identical to my frame, except a size larger. I think KHS would have called it a size 17, as they measured size on a c-c basis at that time.
I'm interested that you think it's a 1991 frame, and I wonder why that is? I have always understood that these were built in 1995. I don't think Litespeed started making frames for other brands as early as 91, and I'm pretty sure that many of the fittings, in particular the dropouts and cable stops, that identify it as Litespeed-built, didn't appear on Litespeed's own frames until 93/94.
Very nice frames in my opinion, great for all-day rides.
