Rond - Magura (Quake) suspension wiper seals

Guys

I own an old Rond Quake fork that has a Magure HS33 package built in by the factory, they look kool as the magura's are postioned in the same config as early PACE offerings (behind)

I've had them stripped down and professional re-painted by ARGOS in Bristol however my local bike shop tell me they can't soure the wiper seals for the fork legs and my rebuild has ground to a hault.

Can any one suggest a supplier or a source for Rond Quake wiper seals
(i'm sorry i do not know stantion diameter etc)

Try talking to Magura uk.

The Magura forum is the place to go but if you phone the service centre in Coalville they are very helpful.

Many thanks for your replies (most helpful)

I've called the guys in Coalville who we very helpful, but reluctant/hesitant to release without checking with Magura 1st as the seals have been in stock rather a long time, and official support has been withdrawn

Fingers crossed the big fella will look favorably upon me and the guys at Magura will say yes!

In the mean time even this optimist is still looking for an alternative source ... if anyone can help in the mean time I'd be eteranlly greatful as they're way to cool to retire without a fight. in the mean time I'll use the link to the Magura forum

Do you need all four seals or just the dust seals (the outer pair).

If it's just the dust seals then I've got a couple that you're welcome to.
If you want the dust seals and the inner (oil/air) seals then they did all come as a kit, part number 0731167.

This number was for the Asgard and Phaon, but as far as I know the seals didn't change.

The Guys at Euro Bikes in Leicester came good !

Top marks to the guys at EuroBike the Magura importers, I got home tonight to find a package from them containing 4 seals (two internal and 2 wiper seals) all sent F.O.C

Now even for an optimist, I must admit I was impressed with such a rapid turn around !! especially as the Initial responce was flakey, "great set of forks but hang em on the wall and admire em"

As for you guys who helped me track them down all I can say is a big phat thankyou, especially to Andy R for the generous offer to sort me out from your own stock if I failed in my quest.

Dave is good like that.
I fitted a too small O ring to the rebound knob on a pair of Menjas, and my knob fell off!
After retracing my steps a few times, and expecting a £20 or so charge for a new knob, he sent me one , 1st class, free of charge!.

Having the same issue as spud. Magura in the Uk I think have shut down and the email doesn't work anymore (magura@racemechanic.co.uk)

I'm in searching Magura seals also for this fork, as I was told Magura used some Marzocchi Seals in the past!??
Does any of you guru's know more about?
