Rocky Mountain Tantalus

mrdryskull

Old School Hero
A few people have asked for some pics. of my Tantalus,,mine is all fillet brazed, including the fork..Sits close to how I found it,,I had to swap to the bullmoose bars,it had a horrific fluorescent yellow Marin stem.
Probably had a lovely fillet stem originally,,also had to swap out the seat..The rest looks original, even the tires I believe.
Serial number ,,,none.
So obviously the 1st Handmade Rocky ever made. (kidding,,maybe Mr. Brodie knows? or Mr. Bailey ? )

Fantastic, thanks for sharing. Yes, a fillet stem would be the ultimate addition.

Re:

Awesome  Thanks for showing the pics

Thanks for obliging my request for pics! Wasn't expecting such an early model… thought it be the lugged version.

VERY nice! Like the Ritchey inspired integrated rear facing seat clamp.

Damn!!! That's a dream find!!!

I have a similar problem... I have this 1" Rocky Mountain Fillet Brazed Stem... It's missing a bike though... Maybe one of us can solve each others problems ;)
