Hi

I can find the service manual online, but not the owners manual. Can anyone help? Seems to be a bit scarce, as do spare parts. Where is the best place to get spares?

Cheers

owner manual I do have - can do a scan for you and also send a copy to John for the archive section.

as for spare parts - check regulary the for sale section, as sometimes good parts appears, also ebay is worth giving a try, thats where I got most of my Judy stuff from.

Cpl. forks are rather risky to buy for spare parts, as most of them are very well used and elastomers are crump and cartridges are shot, over the years, so beware. on the other hand, if previous owner upgrade to springs and better aftermarket cartridge, then its worth buying.

Bushings and seals are both available on Ebay.com if you look for them. Aftermarket cartridges were available direct from Risse but I cannot see them on their website at the present time. Spring kits and elastomers are also on Ebay. Look and yee shall find. The only specialist tools required are bushing removers (try your LBS) the rest can be done by a competent bike mechanic.

When you click on links to various merchants on this site and make a purchase, this can result in this site earning a commission. Affiliate programs and affiliations include, but are not limited to, the eBay Partner Network.

What's in the Owners that's not in the service you need. ?

These are the one's I assume you mean (or Sniperworks)

If anyone has anymore then email them to me :) since i've been doing the RockShox area.

Working on the site again.. offline, but the XTR, XT and LX groups will be extended and with larger pics. Also working on new pics from Rock Shox forks and internals: See-through pics.

I'm sure i found a manual that had how to set the fork up etc. Maybe it was for an newer model. Magus - if you could scan the manual that would be great!
Thanks
Paul

Well I know most the groupset manuals (Shimano) are on here so copy them off it. At least for the periods you're looking at. Some don't have the details in them, just the pictures.
Put up requests in the catalouge section area for any 'parts' you need pictures of as well.
We all use it, so we should all help you with it. :)

Thanks FC.
I have most of the Shimano brochures at home and some technical brochures. I should scan them. All the help from here is usefull.
And I know you are a brochure of yourself :)
