New custom stem picked up on friday, missus birthday on saturday ........... so sunday I fitted it

35 degree rise and 140mm length, makes for a very comfortable upright ride ........ I bloody love it :D

+1 for a great stem! Fillet brazed stems in high rise are few and far between - I can imagine your framebuilder could be in for some enquiries
 
Did I say you've done a great job on that generally, from the 2 tone paint to the grab on style grips, also glad you didn't go for a white seatpost!

That is a good looking bike. Love that stem, brings back memories of Brant Richards' custom stems from the early 90s where he was convinced that 140mm/40 degree stems were the way forward and put them on everything.

Now, only question...what colour is that saddle? Can't help thinking crisp white or black would suit the bike better

That's interesting, that's the same as a 107mm stem, quite short at the time. But higher up.
