Clearly the seller has a firm idea of what they want for it. So why eff about on ebay with some unrealistic shenanigans? If it goes on ebay at £2k (a big if) how much do ebay take in fees out of that??
List it in here or somewhere else where a genuine enthusiastic who really wants it will stump up the right money without any piddling about (unless you are hoping some eccentric loadsa money with no brain will pop up and give you way too much for it.........those days ard over; if they ever even existed!)

EBay has the biggest market reach and also commands the higher prices.

Retrobike isn’t the place to sell top dollar stuff, maybe some FB groups but still nothing like eBay.

Assuming it’s listed on a 80% off deal (this weekend had one) the fees would be around £56 at a £2k BIN which totally are worth it to get the best price.

I think for that money, I'd want original paint and something that hasn't been repaired (dents). Just my opinion.
