Hey guys, in preperation for the arrival of a new frame and forks I am splitting my 1991 Kona Lava Dome with some great parts that won't be used on the next build. Although it pains me to break it as it's a really lovely bike to ride, I have for sale:
1) A 1991 Kona Lava Dome frame in Black, 19", Cromoloy double butted tubing, paintwork is in excellent order for it's age, few chips and scratches but nothing bad, no chain suck, the paint has rubbed through on the inner face of the non drive side rear stay (some noob let the wheel run loose, not me), this didn't bother me so left it as is, no rust. I have always had electrical tape on the head tube to stop cable rub so none there. Comes with original seat collar and rear canti collar plus original grease guard bottom bracket and purple bottle cage bolts.
The head tube is 130mm and runs a 1 1/8" headset.

2) Control centre headset anodized red, 1 1/8" in almost new condition. Very smooth. Perfect for above frame. £15 ono plus postage SOLD payment received
3) Joe Murray Velocity stem in Black, 130mm long, 15o rise I think, for
1 1/8" steerer. Good condition for age, all parts presents, decals good. £15 ono plus postage SOLD payment received
4) PACE RC35 atmosphere balanced forks, with rear tubular brace, canti rocker, 1 1/8" threaded steerer ( approx 170mm long from crown), in very good cosmetic and working condition, hard rated elastomers currently fitted. Steerer and decals recently new from PACE although scratched one decal slightly. Couple of pitting marks to chrome on one upper leg. Looking for £75 Ono plus postage. Fit above frame and headset perfectly!
5) USE titanium seatpost, purple clamp parts, 25mm diameter, complete with 26.4 USE plastic shim to fit above Kona frame, full length never cut. Post in very good unmarked condition, few marks on clamp parts. £50 ono plus postage. SOLD payment received
6) Black leather Turbo saddle in great used condition, proper retro one, not reproduction. White turbo writing to rear on both sides, at nose sides with coloured stripes. Date underneath looks to be 1987? . I would like £40 ono plus postage, also willing to do a deal for a Flite in black.
7) Pair of wheels from the Kona as factory fitted, grey anodized Araya RX7's on Shimano FH-M650 Deore DX hubs, rims in good order, no buckles or flat spots, plain gauge spokes, hardly used braking surfaces. Hubs are smooth, freehub is very good. Come with rim tape, no tyres, tubes or cassette. £45 the pair ono plus postage. Sold
Shimano FC-MT60 Deore DX crank arms, 170mm long, come with all chainring bolts and granny ring spacers, pedal threads and bottom bracket tapers in perfect order. Arms nice and shiny without damage. £10 ono plus postage. SOLD
9) Two rear Shimano XT wheel skewers from FH-M732 hubs, both NOS so in perfect order, including rubber o rings, but minus the rubber handle boots. £8 each ono plus postage.
10) Shimano XTR FD-M900 bottom pull front mech, 28.6mm fitting, good condition. £25 ono plus postage, fits above frame.
11) Both front and rear Ringle twister skewers in silver. In good used condition, some marks but nothing major. £55 ono plus postage.
12) 3 x Tioga Psycho II amber wall tyres, 26 x 1.95. All in good order for age, two have been ridden more than the other but still loads of tread as per pics. £10 each for the first 2, £12 for the third plus postage. ONE sold, two still available
