Rim Recommendations

Retro Newbie
Hi everyone,

I'm currently refurbishing an old shorter frame and I am looking to put on it some semi areo style polished rims.
They don't need to be era specific although I would like to throw a nod to the 80's / 90's if possible.

At the moment the only ones that seem to tick the boxes are Rigida DP18's.

Do you guys have any other suggestions and places where I could buy them from?

Assos? Weinmann? Do you want 'clincher' or 'sprint' version?

I have spare 28 hole Assos Black rim - but I might keep it for something :?

Not very helpful I suppose, sorry.

Rigida SHP 60 might be what you're looking for. They are bare alloy and bullet shaped in profile. REALLY got that early 90's aero look.

Rare as hen's teeth buried in rocking horse poo though. So rare I can't even find a picture of them on Google. I only found mine by chance.

These sound just the ticket.

Clincher or tubular? Might be able to help with either.
Preferably clinchers, I've got spare tyres here so it makes sense to stick with them. I forgot to add in the original post that I need 36 holes to tie up with the hubs I have cleaned up from the original bike.
