Looking for something modern-ish or modern, 17-18" with disc brakes. Don't really want to run anything longer than 100mm fork and don't really want to spend more than £1000 and I'll need it posted :)

What you got :)

Re:

Been considering selling my Spooky Darkside for a bit. Built up with a rigid fork at present. Nice and light and nippy. Can sort pics later - after £400 for the frame or £750 for the complete bike. I could even deliver some of the way as I'm in n Wales.
Can sort pics later if it's of interest.

Re:

Already got a DMR, thanks for the offer though :) Spooky sounds interesting but I would definitely need it posted as I'm out of the country 90% of the time these days.

Re:

Here are a few pictures. Happy to post it or arrange delivery when you're about.

The frame is 17.5" c-t of the seat tube. It takes a 27.2mm post, has a 44mm head tube and 'standard' British threaded BB. I haven't weighed the bike but i'd say it's 24-25lbs. It feels light and rides fast (but seems smooth -it's a well engineered bit of Easton aluminium). It was made in 2011 and I have owned it since new, buying it from Spooky via their UK importers - Wight Mountain down on the Isle of Wight.

It will take up to a 2" 29er tyre or 2.4" 650b tyre. I have run it in both guises. I'd be selling it with xt/dt swiss/stans 355 wheels you see here.

It's set up 1x10 with Shimano Zee shifter and rear mech, Middleburn cranks with Blackspire narrow wide ring. There is a Hope 40t expander cog on the back which I would quite like to keep.

Everything on the bike is in excellent working order and mostly very good cosmetic condition. The XTR brake levers are quite scratched as they have been on several different bikes over the years - being my favourites. The callipers are Avid BB7s.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Rich

Re:

No problem. When I go it out to take the photos I realised that I didn't really want to sell it. Haha.
