Another project from my past: A 1994 Dean with an Amp rear suspension. I had heard bitd when I ordered this frame that it was welded by FTW in Durango. I am not sure about that rumor though. This was one of my all time favorite bikes so I am rebuilding one close to how I had it when new. I will post a photo of a photo from bitd. My sister has my original one but I repainted it while working at Spectrum Powder Works in Colorado Springs in the late '90's. Wish I hadn't done that now but the decals were fragile and the black powder was under cured so it chipped off easily. The frame I found has had a hack for an owner and the seat binder was cut off but the decals and powder are not too bad- it should clean up well - I am not going to repaint since it original only once. If I can pry my old one back from my sister I will restore that one.
