Which company made steel framed Richmond bikes?

Raleigh was one of them. They were also branded Richmond bikes by a London bike shop - nicely made, no idea of builder, had bought, ridden and sold one a year or so ago for not much

Thanks. Mine is definitely the one branded by the Richmond Cycles shop as it was bought there locally. The frame looks nice with decent lugs and dropouts but no indication of tubing used. I was just curious who was building frames for them in the 1980s.
