Thought I’d start a new thread as the last one was getting a wee bit long….
Please find below details to the RetroBike Meet on Saturday 24th March ..
Location – Westcott (North Downs) just west of Dorking on A24.
Meet - Milton Heath Car Park .
Head west out of Dorking on the A25 and about a mile down the road you will see sports fields on your left hand side, look for a left turning, Milton Street. The link below shows you roughly where the Car park is situated. I don’t remember a sign as such but apparently it is sign post to ‘Bury Hill Fisheries’. Visible from the road there's a layby that can only take about 5 cars but go past that into the carpark and my source reckons about 30 to 40 cars can fit in there.

Time – We are looking to meet at 10am. Obviously some people have further to come than others and some will invariably get lost so realistically we will try and leave the Car park and start riding around 10:45am.
We will follow a rough loop that Chris, Matt and I did at the weekend, with the beauty of this venue being the ability to re-ride sections and find alternative routes to lengthen or shorten depending on how slow we are/number of mechanicals …
We aim to have something to eat and a rest stop around 1’ish at the top of one of the hills so bring some lunch etc
Afternoon tom foolery should have us back to the Prince of Wales Pub for a beer around 4pm…(though this may change depending on weather/accidents/fitness)

Jez, Kingroon, Russ & Mrs Russ, Heathy, Max & Me .. We are booked in at the Chart House B&B in Dorking. We will drive there after the meet and shower etc before heading into town for a few beers and some grub. I have a couple of suggestions for decent boozers but we can ofcourse see where the mood takes us .. The B&B require cash/cheque (£35 each) and can be paid on the day, we have two twins and three singles, sleeping arrangements to be decided, but Jez has asked if he can share with Mrs Russ if there are no objections…
